Care To Share was founded in 1985 to address a growing community need. Several local churches were inundated with emergency requests and did not have the personnel or the funds to handle requests on a daily basis. It was through this community concern that Care To Share originated.

Care To Share now serves over 17,875 families a year. The director, utility coordinator, food distribution coordinator, and a dozen volunteers receive and process daily phone  requests. The office is open Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Service is available for Spanish intake. Volunteers are vital for our program.
